early mornings

Beautiful light, dew drops and quietness all around. I actually had to stop to catch my breath this morning on my way to the barn because the sight of the rays of sunlight coming through the trees was so perfect, so beautiful.
On the pastures the horses were still half asleep, a little ruffled, slowly waking up to a beautiful day.

I always get up early, even at weekends, but I hardly ever go outside until I too, have woken up a little, had a hot tea and read some blogs to get my day started.

I should do this more often.

Thanks Lynda, it is surreal to me often as well, especially when I get there after work. I am just grateful there is such a place in this hectic, fast-moving life and it does me a world of good just to be there.

I love the first photograph of the gray horse laying down in the green field. Do you sell prints of your photographs? I would love to purchase a print of this photo for my bedroom. Its just so serene. Its really hard to find beautiful pictures of horses that are serene and not in motion. I’ve been looking and looking and this pic is beautiful.

Thanks and look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks so much Karen! I’m not selling prints at the moment though, sorry 😦 I plan to do so again maybe next year, but at the moment I’m pretty busy at work and adding a business to the mix wouldn’t be a good idea. I’ll let you know when and if I’ll be selling prints again!
