weekend

A special treat: freshly pressed orange juice.

The beginnings of a new quilt (I’ve missed my treadle).

The first christmas cookies.

These are wonderful and very simple: Whisk two egg whites and 125g white sugar until very stiff and set aside two tablespoons for later. Fold in 125g ground hazelnuts and form little balls on a baking sheet using two teaspoons. With a wet wooden spoon, make a dent in each ball, fill with the mix you set aside and place a whole hazelnut on top. Bake at 140-160°C for 20-25 minutes.

I see a bunch of coincidences here!
last weekend we had a delicious freshly squezzed tangerine juice… (always is special treat and it can be my favorite drink!)
I’ve been thinking in a new quilt (even when I don’t finished the last one)
and I can’t stop think to make cookies for this season….

we are sooo far and so close too!

Oh, that is a bunch of coincidence indeed! Have fun quilting and making cookies 🙂 The ones I made are already eaten up, my boyfriend ate the whole box. So I’ll have to make new ones soon 🙂

Thanks Amber 🙂 So far there hasn’t been much progress but I am hoping for some sewing time at the weekend! Do try the cookies, they are so nice and fast, perfect in between working on your curtains 😉
