Way to start a blog post, right?
Truth is, I feel like writing but there isn’t anything to tell.
We’re still apartment hunting.
It’s still wet and cool and rainy with a few rare bits of sunshine in between. It has been raining so incessantly that I haven’t been able to take photos of my sewing.
After so many days of it, it seems there’s no place for the water to go, the plants and ground just can’t take anymore of it.
So the moisture just hangs in the air like a fine mist, making everything damp and clammy.
Still, better than the heat wave most of the US has been having, for me at least.
I’ve been wondering about your apartment hunting. I’d sure like a little of the cool and rain around now with temps around 100 degrees with heat index up to 115 degrees. Would love to see your sewing and what about your garden?

Lynda, we’ve looked at one apartment and are looking at another today. After talking to our landlady it seems we don’t have to hurry so much moving out after all, so we’re taking it slowly and are really looking for the right place.
My garden is…wet, which is good for some plants and not so good for others but it’s going well and we’re harvesting zucchini and tomatoes 🙂
With the heat you’re having I’m more curious about yours! Do you water it?

Thanks Sherrie 🙂 I made a dress last weekend that I really want to show off if it would stop raining so I can take outdoor pictures. I hope in the next apartment there’ll be a sunny space inside to take clothing pics but right now there isn’t 😉

Kristina, I also prefer rainy cold days, even in summer. Heatwaves are so exhausting! and we have so many here in Spain!

Ana, I bet you do! I remember how hot it is always in Italy. Though when you’re near the sea and it’s a dry heat it’s a lot more bearable. We usually get really humid, stuffy heat around here that really makes your head swim.
What’s the summer been like in Spain so far? Did you have rain as well or was that just central Europe?
