I’ve had a few days off work and have been enjoying myself away from the internet, scrubbing and organising our apartment, doing little day trips or soaking up some late sunny days on our balcony. Should I be worried that the first impulse on a free day was to clean our windows? It did feel cathartic after way too many long days spent bent over my desk at work.
Not exactly blog worthy though…so here’s a little peek at a zoo visit we squeezed in.

Love the zoo shots. Those flamingos are so pink! Someone recently told me it’s because they eat so much shrimp…
I’ve been itching to clean, too. Must be a change-of-seasons thing.

Ha, I’ve never even thought about why flamingos are pink! Who knows 🙂 I definitely think the cleaning is a change-of-seasons thing, the equivalent to spring cleaning. I like to think about the cozy, candle lit, drinking-tea evenings to come and I think I was getting our flat ready for that 🙂
