I’m days behind with posting, these are from early in the week.
I can’t even remember when we last had heavy snows in November. We usually don’t get “real” snow that stays on the ground until January.
It has stayed for the whole week and if the weather forcasts hold true will stay on for a good while. It sure looks like this winter will be a long one.
Beautiful light, dew drops and quietness all around. I actually had to stop to catch my breath this morning on my way to the barn because the sight of the rays of sunlight coming through the trees was so perfect, so beautiful.
On the pastures the horses were still half asleep, a little ruffled, slowly waking up to a beautiful day.
I always get up early, even at weekends, but I hardly ever go outside until I too, have woken up a little, had a hot tea and read some blogs to get my day started.
I should do this more often.
